Image badge
The image badge is a small sticker over a product image — on the product page, and on product cards in collections and search — that tells a shopper about a discount before they scroll to the widget itself.
Where it shows
Section titled “Where it shows”You choose where the badge appears, per campaign, under its Cart & badge tab:

Product cards outside a campaign’s own collection — a “featured products” list on your home page, for example — never get a badge, since the app can only be sure a card belongs to the campaign inside that campaign’s own collection pages. Only one badge shows per image; if several campaigns apply to the same product, the one the widget itself would show wins.
The image the badge sits on is found the same way the widget’s own placement is: automatically, or through the placement picker under Settings › Storefront widget if it lands on the wrong image.
Configuring it
Section titled “Configuring it”Each badge has:
- Style — Pill, Split pill, Flag, or Strip. Buy X get Y and Cart goals campaigns also get Gift chip and Gift sticker, styles built around a reward product.
- Position — one of the image’s four corners for most styles; Strip reads only the top or bottom edge, full width.
- Text — two lines, prefilled from the campaign’s biggest saving unless you change them. Available variables depend on the campaign type — for example
{{best}}(the biggest saving or gift),{{first}}(the entry level’s saving), and{{minQty}}(the quantity that unlocks the first level). - Effect — None, Shine, or Pulse.
- Colors — the background defaults to the widget’s own accent color.
- Behaviour — hide the badge when the product is sold out, and make clicking it scroll the page to the widget. Both apply on the product page only.
Keeping the text current
Section titled “Keeping the text current”Leave a text field as it is and the badge keeps using this campaign’s biggest saving automatically — raise a level’s discount and the badge’s numbers follow, with nothing else to update. Type your own wording into a field and it stops updating that line for you, the same trade-off as any templated text in the app.
