Install Nock Deals

Nock Deals builds discount campaigns and runs them at checkout through a Shopify Function. Shoppers see the active levels on your product pages through a storefront widget, so the deal is visible before they add anything to their cart.

The three kinds of campaign

Kind	What it does
Quantity breaks	Discount levels that unlock as a shopper buys more of a product — “buy more, save more”.
Buy X get Y	Buying enough of one product unlocks a free or discounted reward, on that same product or a different one.
Cart goals	A progress bar toward a reward — a discount, free shipping, or a gift — as the whole cart total grows.

A campaign’s kind is fixed when you create it — you can’t turn one kind into another later.

What installing asks for

Shopify shows you a permissions screen before the app installs. Nock Deals needs it for two things, at a high level:

• Your products — so a campaign can target specific products, variants, or collections, and so checkout knows which cart lines to discount.
• Your orders — so the app can attribute sales back to the campaign that earned them. This is what powers the Analytics page and the campaign sales your plan is metered on.

The app also creates the discount itself: publishing a campaign adds an automatic discount to your store, visible under Shopify admin → Discounts, that checkout applies from.

Note

Installing doesn’t change anything on its own. Nothing discounts at checkout and nothing shows on your storefront until you create and publish a campaign.

What you see on first open

The first screen is Home. It walks you through a short setup guide:

1. Turn on the widget in your theme — a one-time theme app embed toggle.
2. Create your first campaign — pick products and add levels such as “Buy 2, save 10%”.
3. Check it on your store — open a product page from the campaign and confirm the widget sits where you expect it.
4. Choose a plan — optional. The Free plan runs one active campaign and a limited amount of campaign sales every 30 days, so you can try the app before paying for it.

Home also shows your last 7 days of activity once you have data, and flags anything that needs attention — for example a campaign that failed to sync to checkout, or your campaign sales cap coming up.
