Terms of service
These terms apply to Nock Deals and to this website, both provided by NockSolutions("we", "us"). Installing the app means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you may do so.
The service
Nock Deals creates discount campaigns in a Shopify store and shows them to shoppers through a theme app extension. The discount itself is applied by Shopify at checkout. We may add, change or remove features; if a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
Your store and your content
You keep ownership of your products, campaigns and store data. You are responsible for the offers you publish, including that they are lawful where you sell and accurately described. You may not use the app to run offers that mislead shoppers about the price they will pay.
Plans, billing and trials
- Plans are charged through Shopify's billing, in US dollars, on a 30-day cycle. Shopify bills you; we never see your card.
- Each paid plan includes a trial once per store. Starting a second subscription does not start a second trial.
- Each plan includes an allowance of campaign sales per 30-day period. The period is anchored to your install date and is not reset by changing plan or buying a pack.
- When the allowance is used up, campaigns stop applying until the period rolls over, you add a pack, or you move to a plan with a larger allowance.
- Charges already made are not refunded when you downgrade or uninstall part way through a period.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to breach or test the security of the service, interfere with other merchants' stores, resell access, or use the app to send unsolicited messages. We may suspend an installation that is causing harm to the service or to shoppers, and we will tell you why.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Shopify's own platform, a theme, or a third-party app can each affect whether a discount or the widget behaves as expected in a given store.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You may uninstall at any time; that ends the agreement and stops further charges from the next cycle. We may end it if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the app, in which case we will give reasonable notice in the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and material changes are announced in the app before they apply.
